The Darkmoon Faire is a monthly event in WoW Classic that starts on the first Friday of each month and brings buffs, quests, epic gear, cosmetic gear, pets and two mini-games. You can find it in Mulgore or Elwynn Forest, but hurry up, as it only stays around for a week!

The Darkmoon Faire is a monthly event. It always lasts exactly one week and starts setting up on the first Friday of every month, becoming available at the start of the next Monday. Because its location rotates between Mulgore (38,39 coordinates) and Elwynn Forest (42,70 coordinates), we already know when and where it will be arriving in the foreseeable future:
February 10-16 — Mulgore
March 9-15 — Elwynn Forest
Do note that, while there will be NPCs heralding the arrival of the Darkmoon Faire in Ironforge and Orgrimmar, they will not be able to instantly teleport you to the Faire grounds in WoW Classic. The Darkmoon Faire will always be located at one of two areas. This is either near Goldshire in Elwynn Forest, or next to Thunder Bluff in Mulgore. While both locations are more convenient for a specific faction, there are not any guards in the area to prevent you from entering the faire. The only thing to keep in mind about this is that you will be flagged for PvP if you are on a PvP server and visiting the opposing zone.
The easiest way to reach the Mulgore location as an alliance player is by taking the boat from Booty Bay to Ratchet. You’ll then need to run west across The Barrens to enter Mulgore. The easiest way to reach the Elwynn Forest location as a horde player is by taking the zeppelin to Grom’Gol Base Camp. From there, you’ll need to run north through Stranglethorn Vale and Duskwood to reach Elwynn Forest.
